Yes, you can customize the length of generated alt text in Account / App Settings. We offer four length presets: Whisper (~80 characters), Murmur (~150), Voice (~200), and Echo (~250). These are length controls—not separate “writing style” or tone products. Review and edit results as needed.

Absolutely. You can use your AltTextify account across multiple websites and integrations. As long as you have available credits, you can generate alt text for as many sites as you need.

No. Any alt text you have generated will remain embedded in your images, even if you uninstall our plugin or app.

Yes. When you upload an image or submit an image URL for alt text generation (including through integrations such as Webflow), we store a processed copy in your AltTextify account so you can review history and manage results. Stored images and generated alt text remain available until you delete them from your account (or via our API), or until we delete them for a valid account-deletion or other legal request. Completing generation does not by itself delete the stored copy. We do not use your images for AI training or share them with third parties for that purpose. Originals hosted on platforms such as Webflow remain on those platforms unless you delete them there. When the account is deleted, all the images are deleted along with it.

Yes, you retain full ownership of all alt text generated through AltTextify. We do not claim any rights over your content. You are free to use, modify, and distribute the alt text as you wish, in accordance with our Terms of Service. While we store generated alt text in your account for convenience, we do not use it for AI training or share it with third parties.

We offer native plugins and apps for WordPress, WooCommerce, Magento, Shopify, and Webflow (Designer Extension). The Webflow App retrieves images from Site Assets and CMS Image / Multi-Image fields—it does not scan the current Designer page canvas. For other CMS platforms, use Zapier / Make connectors. Our AI models strive to generate accurate and descriptive alt text. Occasional inaccuracies may occur. We recommend reviewing and editing alt text before publishing. AltTextify helps accessibility and SEO workflows; generated alt text does not by itself guarantee WCAG, ADA, legal compliance, or search-ranking outcomes.
